Composizione minimalista con ciotole di cemento, candele accese, grappoli d'uva verdi, cipollotti verdi, una mela rossa e uno sfondo di tende bianche.

A series of modular, stackable plates designed to function both individually and in combination, offering versatile solutions for food presentation and consumption. The project explores the boundaries of modularity in tableware, aiming to create multipurpose objects that seamlessly transition between private daily use and professional settings, such as HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafés) environments.

The name is inspired by the Italian word alzatina, referring to cake stand.
TIINA reinterprets this concept into a contemporary, playful design that encourages users to experiment with compositions that best suit their specific needs.

The adaptability of the design fosters engagement, transforming food presentation into a participatory and dynamic experience accessible to everyone. Each configuration can cater to various culinary styles and occasions, blending functionality with an element of fun.

The material is a combination of eggshell powder and calcium alginate, a composition already used in culinary contexts to densify sauces.

These ongoing trials are part of a broader effort to align the project with sustainable practices and circular design principles.
The further idea is also to test concrete with some food waste additions for texture and colors.
